More progress!!!! The first coat of paint is on.

All the shingles are on the roof!!

Our 16th anniversary was yesterday!!! We got ourseves a birdbath. Thrasher's already been in it.

Gloria remembers these from her grandmothers garden. They are reseeding annuals. Notice the spider legs in the flower. I guess we won't have a problem with bugs on this plant!

Somewhat invasive and they smell bad too but they are so unusal we decided to encourage them.

Burgs on the oak tree

I found out that the little red bugs are wheel bugs. So named for the peculiar cog shaped
protusion on the adults carapace. They are members of the assassin bug family.

Finally got a little bit more done on the dollhouse!!! Those stripes are the electrical wiring.
Been too hot to be out in the yard. May get some more done today.

There are close to 50 of these sorts of holes in the back yard.

None is much bigger around than your thumb. Mole eruptions

look very different. It appears that someone is after grubs. I used

the grub fungus 2 years ago. Can't imagine there would be that

many grubs left in the yard. Shrew or .....?

Showers's ready!!!

We're going to inaugurate the shower this afternoon.

Freeze, oak mold, shower

It appears the cold weather has done for the grapes,

the crepe myrtles, and other new stuff.

Roses and iris have some damage.

There seems to be some sort of fungus or mold on the lower branches of the western most oak. I'll get the orthonex after it this week.

The shower continues to progress. We should be able to use

it by mid-week.

Stained class class

Gloria gave me a stained class course for my birthday. This was the class learning project.
It was tedious but fun. I plan to do the glass panel beside the front door when I get the time.

walk to potting shed.

We completed the walk way to the potting shed this weekend.

The shower now has the seat in it.

We have decided to accept reservations for showersf rom weekend visitors. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. There will be $5.00 cover charge.The rate is USD60.00 per hour prorated if the hot water runs out. VISA, MASTERCARD, and PAYPAL accepted.
